AfroTech is the world’s largest Black tech conference, celebrating and empowering Black innovators across the industry. To represent Riot Games, I led the full creative vision for our booth from 2023 to 2025. I shaped the experience from the initial concept through the spatial layout, visual direction, and production-ready assets, using our IP to shape a distinct thematic identity each year.

2025 HOUSTON | 2XKO
For 2025, we built a full 2XKO experience to spotlight Riot’s newly launched fighting game. A towering 9-foot Ekko and a 2XKO-themed Ekko fist set the tone outside, while the interior dropped attendees straight onto the Bilgewater stage with a fully matched backdrop and curated furniture.

2024 Houston | Arcane S2
To celebrate the launch of Arcane S2, I designed an open 3-room booth layout organized for effortless flow and discovery. Each room paired key art with a quote and a signature pattern that grounded the space in character. In most media, we’re lucky to get even 1 POC main character, so I was proud to have 3 from Arcane to showcase.

2023 HOUSTON
Our first fully custom booth made a strong impression with a giant lenticular wall that showcased Black characters from our IP on one side, and an Astra quote on the other. Guests were greeted by a large fuzzy Poro fist, and inside they could explore curated artifacts and relax in open seating areas while chatting with staff.
